Dawn-Webb and Associates has served Chicagoland in real estate sales and management for over 20 years. Ms. Webber was educated at Chicago State and DePaul Universities majoring in Business Administration and Computer Science.
She is widely respected in the real estate field. She is the Chairman of the Board of NAREB- Real Estate Management Brokers Institute, Inc. (REMBI, INC.), the first woman to be elected to both the Chairman of the Board and the President of REMBI, INC. She is the past President. REMBI is the 37 year old educational Institute and affiliate of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc. which specializes in property management for real estate professionals. She is past President (95/96) of the Dearborn Real Estate Board, Inc. (DREB is a 61 year old organization dedicated to Democracy in Housing) and has been a member for over 17 years.
Ms. Webber was appointed by Congressman Bobby Rush to chair the First
Congressional District's WOW Housing Expo Subcommittee for 2002.
Jean is a certified Housing Counselor and serves on the Advisory Board
of NID-HCA, a HUD Approved Counseling Agency.
Jean has served as a Director, Illinois State President and Regional
Vice President of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers™
(NAREB) (headquarters in Washington, D. C.), and its affiliate organizations.
Ms. Webber is the past Real Estate & Construction Chairperson for
the Minority Business Opportunity Committee of U. S. Department of Agriculture,
Food and Consumer Service - Midwest region.
She is a member of the Chicago Association of REALTORs and the National Association of REALTORs. She is also a member and Vice Chairperson of Planning for the Cosmopolitan Chamber of Commerce. Jean is a licensed Continuing Education Real Estate Instructor. She is a member of Real Estate Educators Association and Association of Illinois Real Estate Educators.
Jean is a member of Calvary Baptist Church and serves on the Board
of Trustees.
